The Businesswoman

a film by Damien Gault

Sonia, a young woman of 35, decides to stay home and do nothing. Meddling by those close to her changes nothing. Sonia smiles. She’s happy like this.

The Business Woman is Damien Gault’s second short after Footing (18′, 2013) which was selected in a number of festivals, particularly the Clermont Ferrand Film Festival and the FIFF Namur, and won several prizes: the Grand Prix du festival Premiers Plans d’Angers, the Grand Prize of the Chéries Chéris Festival Paris, La Normandie Scénario Prize and Le Monde de l’Art; also funded by Unifrance, in 2013 it won the CNC quality prize.
